Our timber floors are Prime Grade — without the putty fillers and patching commonly found in lower-quality boards.
Feature grade timber allows natural knots and surface characteristics, which can create gaps in the protective coating. These unsealed areas may allow moisture ingress over time.
Our Prime Grade flooring avoids this by using fully sealed, consistently coated boards designed for long-term performance.

Unlike lower-grade boards (often called feature grade) that can absorb moisture through “feature grade” timber flaws, knots & surface holes, and degrade over time.
